Flower Power

A two week trip back to the UK has been the highlight of the past month for me. After the oppressive city heat of Toronto, slipping back into the more moderate climes of home was very welcome indeed. It was a jam-packed fortnight, with lots of catching up with friends and family, including a trip to Hampton Court Flower Show with my parents. It was an excellent show and we all had a marvellous time.

My friend Philippa Forrester stayed with Grant and me during the Flower Show as she was doing an environmental project there for Anglian Windows. She and her wildlife cameraman husband do a TV show from their home, called Halcyon River Diaries. Their three boys are also involved with the programme. It’s aprecious piece of television.
