While mum and dad were visiting me I took the opportunity to take dad out for a ride in the old 1938 MG TB that he used to ride about in when he was at Birmingham University. Grant tracked down the very car that dad used to own and bought it for me as a 40th birthday present. Dad doesn’t get the chance to see the car too often, so we enjoyed going out for a quick spin for old time’s sake.
