A Fantastic Film
The Help is an amazing film – you have to see it. Beautifully shot, brilliantly acted and the story will have you gripped.
Although dealing with the bigger picture of racism in Mississippi during the 60’s the film keeps firmly to the story of one small town and 3 amazing women who between them challenge the small minded beliefs which were prevalent and largely not up for discussion.
When leaving the theatre we all ‘tut tutted’ about how people could have ever acted like that… but the sad fact is that be it in the name of religion, race or colour the atrocities humans inflict upon each other are still taking place all over the world.
