Get Saucy with HP

I often make  Shepherds Pies to freeze as they are so handy if you’ve got people coming and going.  I use the time honoured recipe which you can find in most cookery books (Delia’s is always a safe bet) but my secret ingredient which makes it ping is HP Sauce!  For years I have been a fan of this humble bottle of delicious brown stuff and a bacon buttie cannot pass my lips unless it has been dipped in the goo. I am a one for continually tasting when cooking,  adding a little more here and there, so when you are making your next Shepherd’s Pie give it a squirt of HP!
