Lorraine Kelly Queen of Breakfast Telly

It was a joy to be part of the celebrations ITV held in honour of Lorraine Kelly’s 30 Years as Queen of Breakfast Television. As with everything about Lorraine she was brought up to share her toys and good fortune, what ever side of the camera then and now this was going to be fun.

There is an unspoken bond between many of us who crawled from our pit at 4.00am to greet the day and it warms me to say that some of my favourite people and best friends in the business I met during my time at GMTV so partying with them was always going to be a off the scale.

I’m so proud and happy for Lorraine she is one of the nicest people you could ever wish to meet and deserves all the accolades which were heaped up on her.

I left the dance floor when the music stopped the lights went up and Lorraine had resorted to hotel slippers to keep her dancing.

Big Kiss to you Mrs Smith and thank you for bringing us all together.

P.S I’d only had 2 Spritzers when I suggested to Dan Wootton and James Tanner that we could do the lift from ‘Dirty Dancing’ “You gotta hold the frame” said Jonny to Baby when he taught her this move !!
